In an overcrowded room eager to attend the show, the young Belgian prodigy Tim Van Steenbergen presented his Fall-Winter 2010-2011 collection inspired by the costumes he created for the Opera Der Ring des Nibelungen<\/em> by Wagner, which has just started at La Scala in Milan and will be performed until 2013.<\/p>\n

Tim van Steenbergen multiplies the materials, not hesitating to combine them in a subtle way: cotton jacquard, jersey, waxed wool, leather, silk, Ottoman prints, gradient knits, corduroy, and even fur.<\/p>\n

The designer proposes a refined style revisiting the great classics of contemporary fashion: dresses, straight and draped skirts. The colors are sober, ranging from black to gray and very dark blue. His collection offers strong lines on a semi-transparent base. The graphic shapes play between matte and shiny, between structure and fluidity, which gives a contrast between a feminine and masculine look.<\/p>\n

The designer multiplies the skirt suits with men’s jackets worn just on the shoulders while the more feminine jackets, more fitted are worn belted.<\/p>\n

The Tim Van Steenbergen woman does not hesitate to go out in a bodysuit, high-waisted shorts or retro bra just covered with a jacket, the skirts are short but she remains chic and modern. She reveals her long legs which remain naked.<\/p>\n

A resolutely trendy style, modern, precise cuts and noble materials, the woman Tim Van Steenbergen is a chic woman, trendy and who likes to divert the codes.<\/p>\n
