The MSGM Women's Spring/Summer 2025 collection, entitled "Blue Horizon", is a vibrant manifesto of summer living, where architecture and design become the primary languages of self-expression. Inspired by the sharp geometric shapes of coastal homes, from the blue-and-white contour design of "La Vedetta" to the modernist lines of "Villa E-1027", it features graphic touches and color play. The collection is based on a palette of Klein blues, reds and yellows, complemented by shades of coral, turquoise and sand. Clean lines and gentle curves emphasize the rhythm of the coastline, where the movement of the waves meets the sharpness of the horizon.
The fabrics in the collection impress with their sensuality: fresh materials invite movement, while jersey textures, micro-plies and 3D embroidery make every detail unique. The jersey of iconic T-shirts is transformed into ultralight dresses with microscopic bows and ruffles. Following the ideas of Eileen Gray, the designer who asserted that "design must respond to human needs", the collection is imbued with a concern for comfort.
The collection's shapes, like the flow of water, manifest themselves in curved lines and optical prints created by Milanese artist Luca De Gaetano. These motifs, representing flowers and watercolor touches, transform cotton canvas and net into indigraphy. The visual component is completed by hyper-pop shots of multicolored flowers, scanned and printed on jersey. The elastic corset belt refers to Mario Bellini's iconic "Figura" armchair, linking fashion and architecture.
"Blue Horizon" is not simply a geographical direction, but an emotional concept that transports us to the Mediterranean world.
