Weili Zheng SS22: « Rebirth »

The new collection Weili Zheng SS22 is a hymn to the rebirth that looks to the future.

Freedom is detected through the characteristics of South African wildlife, from soft and clean colours of the steppe to the brightest and most pastel tones of the savannah, to give a touch of light and magic to this expected restart.

The creative choice is the synthesis of a perfect union between the East and a wild land, told by the refinement of oriental brocades and the grit of animal prints.

The fabrics find new identity and character with exclusive selections of chiffon, linen, damask, multicolor paillettes, sangallo lace and cupro. Soft and light textures are used to make « divine leaders » with volumes and cadences reminiscent of the movements of the underwater flora, enhancing the beauty and femininity of the woman.

The creative research of Weili Zheng’s collections has always been oriented by the concept of maximalism, an eclectic triumph of varied details assembled in harmonious and unexpected mix & match.

The prints and patterns create an engaging scenario and the undisputed protagonists are: the oriental patterns in contrast to the animalier prints, the precious brocades in tune with the persuasive silk and at the end the harmonious and poetic floral prints and the technical nylon with curious material textures.

The shapes and volumes of Oriental heritage dialogue in total consistency with the stylistic elements in vogue in the 70s in the Western world.

Shade of colors and fabric features outline precise narrative strength that light up the looks of bright colors.

The looks and accessories go beyond the seasons reflecting the distinctive and recognizable evergreen style and participating in the storytelling designed to continue the narration collection after collection.
