DSC_6644The woman at Valentin Yudashkin last season was flirty and joyous. this season, she focuses on her origins (Valentin Yudashkin is a Russian designer) and chooses to affront the rudeness of winter in style by embracing who she is : an ice queen.

White is the go-to color for this season. Fur is a staple of the collection, which, all in all, is very logical as winters in Russia are the worst and the Valentin Yudashkin woman is a delicate one and has to preserve herself from it.

Metallics also are a big part of this collection, reminiscing of the reflections of light on the surfaceof snow. We also get to witness jewelry integrated to the clothes with this same inspiration in mind.

Mostly, the colors are light : mint green and other pastels, white, silver. Practical yet very elegant and a princess at heart, she can also wear gowns of grey lace or tulle with embroideries.
Some very sophisticated looks are to point out here : I think of the silk blouses with pencil skirts who are presented to remind us that not only can the Valentin Yudashkin be spectacular and dramatic but she also translates very well to daywear looks.
