The women’s collection spring summer 2012 by Tim Van Steenbergen is inspired by the Art deco of the 20ties and 30ties.
His Grandfather and architect René Van Steenbergen was born 100 years ago.
He created a striking new concept of housing in an expressionistic style with Art deco ornamentations.
The link with fashion, designing and constructing clothes, is not far to seek.

This collection is a playful graphic combination of planes and volumes,
interrupted by straight lines with many confrontations of colours, according to the Bauhaus movement.

Fabrics and textures attract and repel in glossy and matt, stripes and prints, structured materials and transparencies.

The shape of the silhouettes starts from simplicity in design, geometrical variations of horizontality and verticality.

The garments are becoming personal compositions of streamlined forms, simple and practical,
contemporary cut along straight lines and constructed of rectangles and the typical curves.

Spring Summer 2012 is also the relaunch of the Men’s collection by Tim Van Steenbergen.
Fashion inspired by a perfect day in a man’s life.

A selection of luxurious theo sunglasses by Tim Van Steenbergen and
shoes Tim Van Steenbergen handmade by Ambiorix complete this collections.
