Hundreds of guests, friends and fellow photographers hungry to reminisce and to celebrate British icon David Bowie, enjoyed the display of images on the gallery walls, from photographers such as Brian Duffy, Denis Taylor, Terry O’Neill, Ray Stevenson, Geoff MacCormack, David Bebbington, Jak Kilby and Bob Solly. Some of which, were actually also present at the private view.

Most guests enthusiastically applauded author Kevin Cann, also the curator of the exhibition, on the publication of his book, entitled “Any Day Now”. The book, just like the exhibit, is rich in illustrations never seen before, but also includes interviews, details, myths and truths about David Bowie which fans would find absolutely fascinating. The book publisher , a small firm by the name of Adelita, as well as the author, thanked all those who contributed to the exhibition and to the book as well as the audience for their support.

Music in the gallery was in line with the exhibition, featuring some of the artist’s tracks and other s from the same time-range.  Photographs varied from black in white images to colourful album covers, including those of his time as Ziggy.
