Cannes, 13 mai 2009 – La Maison Chopard a ouvert le Festival de Cannes avec le lancement de son nouveau parfum Cascade, au cours d’une magnifique soirée à l’Eden Roc.

C’est la soirée d’ouverture du Festival de Cannes que la Maison Chopard, en association avec Coty, a choisi pour dévoiler son tout nouveau parfum, Cascade, inspiré de l’univers du tapis rouge et des stars. Ainsi, après la fameuse montée des marches et les flashs des photographes, 250 invités se sont retrouvés au Cap d’Antibes pour une soirée exclusive sur le thème « Belle de Nuit », du nom de la fleur composant la note principale du parfum.

Pour célébrer la naissance de Cascade, les plus belles femmes ont répondu à l’invitation de Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, Co-Présidente de Chopard: la top modèle Eugenia Silva, les actrices Devon Aoki, Jaydy Mitchel et Alessia Piovan ont honoré la soirée de leur présence. Dans le cadre enchanteur de l’Eden Roc, elles ont pu admirer les plus belles créations joaillères de la maison Chopard, mises en valeur par une décoration raffinée toute de rose poudré, en hommage a la couleur du jus et du flacon de Cascade : champagne rosé, lumières rosées, cascades de lumières…des Belles de Nuit suspendues dans des photophores embaumaient l’atmosphère et livraient leur parfum entêtant. La ravissante actrice espagnole Elsa Pataky avait choisi de porter les magnifiques boucles d’oreilles Cascade, créées en hommage au parfum.

On comptait également parmi les invités de marque l’acteur américain Mathew Modine et le réalisateur Roman Coppola.

Au bord de la mythique piscine de l’hôtel, les invités ont pu déguster des millefeuilles de foie gras au pain d’épice, des cuillères à la mousseline d’artichaut et queues d’écrevisse, du ceviche de loup au confit de citron et minute de fenouil ou encore de la chapata de volaille à la sauce soja et gingembre. Pour les amateurs de douceurs, une farandole de macarons, de sablés croustillants et de vérines de fruits rouges vinrent clôturer ce moment gastronomique.

Mais c’est l’arrivée des Gypsy Queens, un groupe composé de 5 musiciens exceptionnels jouant de la guitare sèche, de la contrebasse et de la caisse claire, qui électrisa l’assistance. Durant plus d’une heure, ils mirent véritablement le feu à la soirée, qui se poursuivit tard dans la nuit grâce au talent de DJ de charme, Emma de Caunes et Cécile Togni.

Cannes, 13. Mai 2009 – Das Haus Chopard eröffnete das Filmfestival von Cannes mit der Einführung seines neuen Parfums Cascade im Rahmen eines wunderbaren Abends im Eden Roc.

Es ist der Eröffnungsabend der Filmfestspiele von Cannes, den das Haus Chopard in Zusammenarbeit mit Coty gewählt hat, um sein brandneues Parfum Cascade zu enthüllen, das von der Welt des roten Teppichs und der Stars inspiriert ist. So fanden sich nach dem berühmten Treppenaufstieg und dem Blitzlichtgewitter der Fotografen 250 Gäste am Cap d’Antibes zu einem exklusiven Abend unter dem Motto « Belle de Nuit » ein, benannt nach der Blume, die die Hauptnote des Parfums bildet.

Um die Geburt von Cascade zu feiern, folgten die schönsten Frauen der Einladung von Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, Co-Präsidentin von Chopard: Topmodel Eugenia Silva, die Schauspielerinnen Devon Aoki, Jaydy Mitchel und Alessia Piovan beehrten den Abend mit ihrer Anwesenheit. In der zauberhaften Umgebung des Eden Roc konnten sie die schönsten Schmuckkreationen des Hauses Chopard bewundern, die durch eine raffinierte Dekoration ganz in Puderrosa zur Geltung kamen, als Hommage an die Farbe des Safts und des Flakons von Cascade: rosa Champagner, rosa Lichter, Lichtkaskaden … Belles de Nuit, die in Windlichtern hingen, erfüllten die Atmosphäre und verströmten ihren betörenden Duft. Die bezaubernde spanische Schauspielerin Elsa Pataky hatte sich entschieden, die wunderschönen Cascade-Ohrringe zu tragen, die als Hommage an das Parfum entworfen worden waren.

Zu den prominenten Gästen zählten auch der amerikanische Schauspieler Mathew Modine und der Regisseur Roman Coppola.

Am legendären Pool des Hotels konnten die Gäste Millefeuilles von Gänseleber mit Lebkuchen, Löffelchen mit Artischockenmousseline und Flusskrebsschwänzen, Ceviche vom Wolfsbarsch mit Zitronenconfit und Fenchelminute oder Chapata vom Geflügel mit Sojasauce und Ingwer probieren. Für die Liebhaber von Süßigkeiten gab es eine Farandole aus Makronen, knusprigen Sablés und Verines aus roten Früchten, die diesen gastronomischen Moment abrundeten.

Doch erst die Ankunft der Gypsy Queens, einer Band aus fünf außergewöhnlichen Musikern, die Trockengitarre, Kontrabass und Snaredrum spielen, elektrisierte das Publikum. Die charmanten DJs Emma de Caunes und Cécile Togni sorgten dafür, dass der Abend bis spät in die Nacht andauerte.

Cannes, May 13, 2009 – The House of Chopard opened the Cannes Festival with the launch of its new fragrance Cascade, during a magnificent evening at the Eden Roc.

It was the opening night of the Cannes Film Festival that Chopard, in association with Coty, chose to unveil its brand new fragrance, Cascade, inspired by the world of the red carpet and the stars. So, after the famous ascent of the steps and the flashes of the photographers, 250 guests met at Cap d’Antibes for an exclusive evening on the theme « Belle de Nuit », named after the flower composing the main note of the perfume.

To celebrate the birth of Cascade, the most beautiful women accepted the invitation of Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, Co-President of Chopard: top model Eugenia Silva, actresses Devon Aoki, Jaydy Mitchel and Alessia Piovan honored the evening with their presence. In the enchanting setting of the Eden Roc, they were able to admire the most beautiful jewelry creations of the Chopard house, highlighted by a refined decoration in powder pink, in homage to the color of the juice and the bottle of Cascade: pink champagne, pink lights, cascades of lights… Belles de Nuit suspended in photophores scented the atmosphere and delivered their heady perfume. The beautiful Spanish actress Elsa Pataky chose to wear the beautiful Cascade earrings, created in tribute to the perfume.

Other distinguished guests included American actor Mathew Modine and director Roman Coppola.

At the edge of the hotel’s mythical swimming pool, guests were able to taste millefeuilles of foie gras with gingerbread, spoons with artichoke mousseline and crayfish tails, ceviche of bass with lemon confit and fennel minute or poultry chapata with soy sauce and ginger. For those who love sweets, a farandole of macaroons, crunchy shortbread and red fruit verines closed this gastronomic moment.

But it was the arrival of the Gypsy Queens, a group of 5 exceptional musicians playing acoustic guitar, double bass and snare drum, that electrified the audience. For more than an hour, they really set the evening on fire, which continued late into the night thanks to the talent of charming DJs, Emma de Caunes and Cecile Togni.
